Guard and prisoner. In the shadow of history.
1967. Dictatorship. My father, a simple man with a duty, found himself at the epicenter of a historical moment. Witness to a violent and dark era. Guard of George Papandreou, a political prisoner in his residence in Kastri. My father's story in the gendarmerie in the 1960s is a microcosm of the tension that characterized Greece at that time. Through personal photographs and historical material, this project explores the coincidental path of two men who found themselves at a crossroads between personal identity and professional status. Which is the right side of history? Or is this question ultimately wrong?
